About Us
Wild Duck Care (WDC) was established in 2018 which had been a result of extensive community liaison and discussion with regional families. We recognised an opportunity to further complement and embed disability support services based on the fundamental value of Client Choice.

Our organisation is 100% independent, which means our advice and referrals to other providers are objective and based solely on what’s best for you.

Initial operational service inception was focused upon a catalogue of simplified Client Support services. This, after further dialogue with families was expanded to also scope health promotion and the education of regional health entities and support agencies. Our experience has identified that residents of the Central Victorian community at times may require assistance in navigating the supporting federal governments NDIS programme and regional Loddon Mallee Rural Health Alliance health services.

With this view and principal of operation, WDC operates on a premise of collaboration. Both with the Client and Supporting Regional agencies.

​During the course of early 2018 the Australian Health Department initiated a staged roll out of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). During this phased roll out into Central Victoria, WDC undertook the initiative to apply for Service Provider recognition. After an extensive due-diligence review and capability alignment WDC successfully received accreditation and national registration.
Our focus is targeted at Central Victorian and North Central South Australian individuals and families living in remote areas where access to existing community disability support resources is difficult to reach or attain.

Through community liaison and collaborative working arrangements Wild Duck Care will focus on a targeted group of regionally remote residents. These relationships will be built upon trust and Client Choice of cost effective supporting services.
